2. Plugin Requirements

Before using School Meals Pro by Delyriaz, make sure your website meets the basic requirements.

You need:

• A working WordPress website
• WooCommerce installed and active
• Customer accounts enabled
• A working WooCommerce checkout page
• WooCommerce products created
• Product categories created
• School Meals Pro installed and active
• A valid license, if license activation is required

Customers should be logged into their account before placing school meal orders. This is important because students and wallet credit are connected to the customer account.

You should also create your schools, grades, restaurants, product categories, and meal products before opening the system to customers.

Recommended setup order:

1. Install and activate WooCommerce.
2. Install and activate School Meals Pro.
3. Activate the plugin license.
4. Add schools and grades.
5. Add restaurants.
6. Create WooCommerce products and categories.
7. Assign categories to meal days.
8. Configure Meals Setup.
9. Test checkout with a customer account.

If WooCommerce is not active, many School Meals Pro features will not work correctly.
