Go to School Meals > Days to configure ordering availability.
Global Ordering Status
Enable Accepting Orders to allow customers to purchase meal products.
Disable it to close all meal ordering during vacations, emergencies, holidays, or other manual closures.
Enter a Closed message to explain why ordering is unavailable.
When global ordering is disabled, all meal products become unavailable regardless of their category cutoff settings.
Weekly Opening
Choose the day and time when the new ordering cycle begins.
For example:
- Opening day: Friday
- Opening time: 3:00 PM
In this example, the weekly ordering cycle begins every Friday at 3:00 PM.
Category Cutoff Times
Each product category can have its own cutoff.
For every category, configure:
- Use cutoff
- Close day
- Close time
For example, a category can open Friday at 3:00 PM and close Monday at 8:00 AM.
After the cutoff passes, products in that category cannot be purchased again until the next weekly opening.
Categories without Use cutoff enabled remain available while global ordering is enabled.
All opening and closing calculations use the timezone configured in WordPress Settings > General.
After configuring the schedule, click Save Days Settings.
