Every assigned meal stores its School Meals information on the corresponding WooCommerce order item.
The saved information can include:
- Student name
- School name
- Grade
- Allergies
- Notes
- Meal day
- Product category
- Cancellation status
- Cancellation date
- Wallet credit amount
To review an order:
- Go to WooCommerce > Orders.
- Open the required order.
- Find the order items.
- Review the Student Info section beside each meal.
The Student Info section can display the assigned student, school, grade, meal day, category, allergies, notes, and cancellation status.
This information is saved as a snapshot when checkout is completed.
If a customer later changes the student’s school, grade, allergies, or notes, previous orders keep their original information.
Customers can also open an order from My Account > Orders. The School Meal Items table displays the meal, student, day, category, status, and available cancellation action.
A cancelled meal remains part of the original WooCommerce order for recordkeeping. However, the plugin excludes cancelled items from its operational sheets, labels, kitchen reports, and restaurant payout calculations.
