Operational resilience
Designed for background processing
The plugin uses WooCommerce Action Scheduler when available and falls back to WP-Cron. Job locks prevent overlapping copies of the same task, while failed work is scheduled for another attempt.
Important: full tests can send configured emails and can change eligible order statuses. The administration screen warns before starting one.

School Automation requires WordPress 6.4+, PHP 7.4+, WooCommerce 8.6+, and an installed and active copy of School Meals Pro by Delyriaz. Valid parent and add-on licenses are required to start automation features.
Can I generate files without enabling the schedule?
Yes. Manual actions remain available. “Generate School Files” creates School Report, WorkDay, and Labels PDFs for matching schools and does not send school emails.
Which PDF types can I browse?
The PDF library recognizes School Reports, WorkDay files, Labels, and Restaurant Payout files. You can search, filter, preview, and download them.
How are school emails controlled?
Each enabled school can have different recipients for Monday through Sunday. A blank weekday sends no school email, and a package is sent only after all three school PDFs are created successfully.
Will it complete an order too early?
The completion workflow only changes an eligible order when every active meal item has a delivery date and every one of those dates has passed.
